If you are having issues getting the right results on your Prime Rib
- Make sure that you use the cooking setup for Beef > Roast. Using another cooking setup, including Manual mode may yield inaccurate results.
- Prime Rib or Rib Roast is an especially fatty piece of meat. Make sure that your thermometer is inserted all the way to the black ceramic end, and that you are not hitting any air or fat pockets in the meat.
- Try reconnecting your thermometer and placing in another area of the roast. Give the thermometer a full five minutes to come to a more accurate reading.
